Congregation dates back to 1847.  They sold the original building to the German congregation in 1856, eventually building a new structure on Jefferson Ave. and Linden St.  The congregation is now Elm Park United Methodist Church.

Began in 1975.  The congregation never owned a building and met in various churches (Bradley, Forty Fort, Mountaintop).  The congregation was discontinued in 1993, and members transferred to Dunmore United Methodist or place of their choice.

After dwindling for years, the church received new life in 2016 when an influx of refugees from the Congo and other Central African countries began to attend and organized a praise choir.  When the Congolese worshipers could not carry the financial load, the congregation was forced to close – with the hope that the African ministry could continue as part of Elm Park UMC.

It was organized as Park Hill Methodist Protestant Church in 1868.  It had ceased to exist by 1882, most members forming a Primitive Methodist congregation a few years previous.  Church building was sold to Hampton St. in 1882.
