First Ward - [L] From city limits southwesterly along Dunmore line to Market street, Green Ridge, thence along Market street to Capouse road, thence northeasterly to city limits.

[W] Bounded southeast by the Burough of Dunmore; northeast by Dickson borough; northwest by Third ward; southwest by E and W Market.

Second Ward - From Market street, Green Ridge, southwest along Dunmore line half way between Centre street and Delaware Ave., thence northwesterly to Lackawanna river, thence southerly till opposite Walnut, Green Ridge, thence northeasterly to Market Street, thence along Market to the place of beginning.

Bounded northeast by E. and W. Market; southeast by borough of Dunmore; southwest by Thirteenth and Twenty-First wards; northwest by Third ward.

Third Ward - From city limits at First Ward westerly to Leggitt’s Creek, thence southwesterly to near Brisbin breaker, thence northwesterly to city limits, thence northeasterly to city limits, thence southeasterly to place of beginning.

Bounded northeast by Dickson borough; southeast by First and Second wards; southwest b y Twenty-First ward; northwest by Ransom, Newton, and Abington townships.

Fourth Ward - From Pettebone, Hyde Park, along Main street to Jackson, thence along Jackson to city limits, thence northeasterly to Pettebone, thence along Pettebone to Main.

Bounded southeast by N. Main ave.; northeast by Pettibone; northwest by Keiser creek; southwest by Jackson.

Fifth Ward - From Scranton avenue, Hyde Park, southerly along the Bloomsburg Railroad to Sixth avenue, thence along Sixth avenue to city limits, thence northeasterly to Jackson, thence along Jackson to Scranton avenue and to place of beginning.

Bounded northeast by Jackson; northwest by Keiser creek; southwest by Luzerne; southeast by L&B RR.

Sixth Ward - From Fifth avenue along Lackawanna river to city limits, thence westerly to Bloomsburg Railroad, thence along Railroad to Fifth avenue, thence along Fifth avenue to Lackawanna river.

Bounded northwest by L&B RR; southwest by Lackawanna township; southeast by Lackawanna river; northeast by Fifth avenue.

Seventh Ward - From Dunmore line along Washington avenue to Pine Brook, along Pine Brook to Lackawanna river, along Lackawanna river to Ash street, thence southeasterly to Dunmore line.

Bounded northwest by Lackawanna river; south by Pine Brook; northeast by Thirteenth ward.

Eighth Ward - From Linden street along Washington avenue to Roaring Brook, thence to Lackawanna river, thence along Lackawanna river to Linden, along Linden to Washington avenue.

Bounded northeast by Linden; northwest by Lackawanna river; southwest by Lackawanna river and Roaring Brook; southeast by N. Washington avenue.

Ninth Ward - From Dunmore line along Clay avenue to Olive street, along Olive to Jefferson avenue, along Jefferson avenue to Linden, along Linden to Adams avenue to D. L. & W. R. R., along D. L. & W. R. R. to Washington avenue, along Washington avenue to Dunmore line, along Dunmore line to city limits.

Bounded northwest by N. Washington avenue; south by E. Lackawanna, Adams, Jefferson aves. Linden and Olive; southeast by Clay ave; northwest by Dunmore borough and Pine Brook.

Tenth Ward - From Dunmore line southwesterly to Olive street, along Olive to Clay avenue, along Clay avenue to Dunmore line, along Dunmore line to city limits.

Bounded northwest by Clay ave; southwest by Olive; southeast by Roaring Brook township; northeast by borough of Dunmore.

Eleventh Ward - From Roaring Brook along Pittston avenue to Meadow Brook, along Meadow Brook to Lackawanna river, along Lackawanna river to Roaring Brook, along Roaring Brook to Pittston avenue.

Bounded south by Roaring Brook; west by Lackawanna river; south by Stafford Meadow Brook; southeast by Pittston ave.

Twelfth Ward - From continuation of Olive street along city limits to continuation of River street, S. H. [Shanty Hill ?], along River to Pittston avenue to Roaring Brook, along Roaring Brook to Olive and thence to place of beginning.

Thirteenth Ward - From between Centre street and Delaware avenue, Green Ridge, along the Dunmore line to angle of Dunmore, thence northwesterly to Lackawanna river, along Lackawanna river to above Von Storch breaker, then southeasterly to place of beginning.

Fourteenth Ward - Commencing at a point opposite Vine street on Lackawanna river, along Lackawanna river to Scranton avenue, along Scranton avenue to Jackson, along Jackson to Main, Hyde Park, along Main to Pettebone, thence easterly to place of beginning.
